Pilot Flying Way To The Career

Going fast among the clouds and travelling thousands of kilometers within seconds is the specialty of the pilot. Due to increasing opportunities, attracting salaries and more than the facilities that are offered, all these day by day increasing the number of students who want to take pilot as his career. To start the career as a pilot commercial pilot license (CPL) is compulsory. This course can be completed from the institute which is certified by directorate general of civil aviation – DGCA. But this training is very costly. The fees should be paid in lakhs. But without any expenses our Indian tri force (Army, navy and air force) is giving opportunity to start the career as a pilot for this NDA, CDSE, short service commissioned officers in, flying branch, post track selection through these pilot recruitments are done.

Indian Airforce:-

In Indian air force flying, technical, grand parts are there. By joining as flying branch in this you can start the career as pilot. In flying branch, with in 10, +2 entries through NDA examination the entrance is possible. In graduation entry, Through CDA (Combined Defense Services) examination and also national cadet corps special entry, short services commission, in these two methods recruitment will be there.

National Cadet Corps Special Entry:-

Those who have recruited through this will be given permanent commission unmarried male candidates are only eligible age 19-23 years.

Qualification:-

60% marks with any graduation (Maths, Physics should be studied at 10, +2 level) final year students can also apply for this. At the same time, in NCC Air wing senior division ‘C’ certificate must be there.

Post service commission (Flying Pilot):-

Those who have recruited through this will be given short service commission. The service should be done for 14 years.

Age: 19 – 23 years.

Qualification:-

60% marks in any graduation (maths, physics should be studied in 10, +2) final year students can also apply for this. In the decided way body fitness must be there. The related notification will be released in December/June every year.

Selection Procedure:-

NCC, short service commission in both the part Airforce common Admission test (AFCAT), services selection board (SSB) Interview, based on these two stage selection will be there. They are

Stage – 1:- Intelligence, picture perfection, discussion test are conducted. Those who are selected in this will be allowed for Stage – 2 Examination.

Stage – 2:- Cycological tests, Group task test, group discussion, interview, medical examinations are conducted. For pilot candidate pilot aptitude test will be there as extra. The notification for AFCAT will be released in December/June.

Post Track Selection:- Every year Indian air force is conducting campus selection troop with education institutes in some part of the world for selecting pilot in the post track selection basis.

Qualification:- 60% marks in any degree passed. Engineering students are also qualifiers. In the intermediate maths, physics must be compulsory. Final year students can also apply for this.

Age limit: – 19- 23 years.

Career:- In air force through any method joined, in the training period Rs.21, 000 is given as stipend monthly. After training career will be started as flying officer. At that time more than Rs.40, 000 can be got as stipend. Attractive allowances will be there. Pilot Lieutenant, squadron leader, wing commander, Group captain, Air commander…… Like this promotions can be got.
